Feb. 26th, 2022 01:41 pmGot an IPS54 Digital Inclinometer after doing some trig on some angles and was able to verify very strong agreement with my numbers. Other places would be hard to trig. Due to the nature of the situation, there's no clear up/down reference that doesn't wobble around. Also got a General No. 837 Angle-izer (r), which is like those pin things you stick your face in to make an artistic clone of your face, except 2D. Both were about $10.
Also got a very small travel scanner and very small travel printer for digitizing these tracings (initially tried the ticking stick method but didn't have a good solid level surface to work from and results wound up being pretty sloppy even with three tries), printing templates, and exchanging piles of forms with the IRS.
