Yellow snowflakes.

Sister, to my mother: "What color sprinkles are you going to put sprinkles on those?"
Me: "looks like someone already sprinkled on those."

This is a genetic condition. Mother asked sister twice at two different points to pick up more milk. Twice I pointed this out.

Clouat. Gabe's getting as many meals as he wants from me. No schedule. Giving him as little food as I think he'll eat. It's hard being an old kitty.

These ViceGrip pliers designed to fit bolts, allowing me to tighten nuts opposite bolts I can't reach by myself. Been trying to figure out this problem for a long time.

Kayak towing a dock float barge setup.

Corroded chromed bronze.

Temporary chainplate with a mound of butyl rubber. This is a blog about butyl rubber.

New chainplates.

Ancestors. Chicken.

I got the job of turning the mad pirate's chest (fridge) into meals. So far, bread pudding, root veggie soup, pizza. Big batches means freezer portions. Have in no way plumbed the depths of this thing. You've heard of Fridge Tetris (which we're also playing, and the milk photo was with a pile of things removed) but have you heard of Fridge Mahjohng? My friend A was always happy when I visited too because I'd coordinate real meals, but everyone likes to eat, right?

Meat eaters requested meat on half the pizza but then the veggie side got demolished. I've found over and over, ordering pizza for public events, that this happens. People think they aren't going to get enough protein if there isn't meat, but when pizza gets there, they don't eat it. At TBAG Bike Count training, we started doing half vegan pies, and *those* got demolished even though there were very few vegans there. Ya'll craving veggies and in denial.

LM (brother and I also used to call her "the mother unit") did a tour of the senior apartment last night at 1am. Sister has been making her take her meds so I stepped up to make her do her 15 minute walk, 5 minute rest, 15 minute walk around the halls. All of the old people have decorations on their doors and little door alcoves (I think this was designed knowing that old people like to put little tables and things out by their doors, so room offset from the hallway was designed in for that). Someone had wreath full of little faux taxidermy birds, made of taxidermy birds. The whole wreath is bird. I might take a photo next trip around but I'm not sure where to start with the content warnings on that one. All of the other decorations are either borderline art or cartoon, but this was a thing of horror.
