scrottieTrying to catch up on work backlogs is miserable. The was already a massive backlog that a backlog got added to. I'm trying to clear out one backlog so I can get to the other backlog that backlogs keep taking me from.
I hate the Elric books but there are other shallow, self-obsessed things I hate far more. The main character i not a protagonist, not quite an anti-hero, just a dumbass. A lot of the fantasy elements are creative, but characters and plot are thoughtless. The first book didn't have time to develop major plot wtfs. It really only built things up. The world is full of authors with pretty words who have no idea what direction they're going with their characters and story.
