Bike seat gave out about a week ago. Zip-tied it and rode on, ordered yet another and installed it this morning. Figured I'd save the last one. Processing stuff today, I found the previous-previous one which I also decided to save. Derp.
New Latitude magazine came out. These are the free sailing pulps. They get shipped to marinas, sailing clubs, stores, etc. Gill is advertising a "sailing parka" that looks exactly like a swim parka. Maybe that's justification for wearing a swim parka around when it's cold. Svendsen's Bay Marina is hiring. One dealer is having an open house on two luxury yachts. The letters are lively and interesting and there are always a bunch of stories. Someone rescued a 10 year forgotten Santa Cruz 52 with 9' draft from a marina in Oakland slated to be demolished and almost completely silted in. Unlike books about people's sailing adventures, this rag is full of full color photos.
