Pretty sure I got served decaf this morning and it took me a long time to figure that out... because I was asleep. I was reverse drugged. Missed a meeting. Yet another reason to bring my own coffee setup setup on Amtrak. Much better after a later afternoon coffee from the station in Chicago but now my stupid brain will expect late afternoon coffee or power itself off. Train had a very young and still a bit awkward crew who seem to be brand new on the job. So far Amtrak has been on time, unlike me.

A friend who's a senior doctor in a busy hospital was very angry to discover that somebody had put decaf in the wrong flask in the surgeons' break room.

Decaf should be required by law to contain a dye, like off-road and marine-use fuels do.
