Like a glooove!
Low profile calliper saves about an inch of spacing needed on the lower fork eye. Did not originally think through disc brake interference when planning this fork/rack combo so I'm lucky it came out this well. This is second fork and third front rack setup I've tried on the S&S Salsa. Last one attached to the Rock Shox rim brakes then had to be bungied or zip tied to keep it from rotating forward in to the wheel and initiating Superman mode for the rider.

I think the "suspension corrected fork" was unnecessary. Bike shop tried to match the hight of the shocks with the fork and a few companies make forks just for replacing shocks, but the shocks were shot and rode at rigid 26-er level, so now the front is way higher. I'm sure I'll get used to it (well... maybe not if I keep riding in to the wind) but I'm thinking a normal 26er fork would have been better.
