Waiting for grades on my final. I haven't been checking grades because mostly they're incoherent and that adds extra stress. Most assignments got 100% or very near but then some got 10 or 20% and I really have no idea why. (A previous class, I was supposed to flowchart something, so I thought, great, this is fun, and pulled out the old flowchart stencil and did a lovely flowchart with all the correct symbols, scanned it, and got graded 0 for it). But I did to see if the final grade showed up (multi-choice quiz where the signal to noise ratio often makes it impossible to tell if the question is trying to be slightly tricky or if the person who created that question from course material they don't fully understand is asking for something simplistic but phrased it badly, I'm often surprised what they wind up thinking the answer is... and also, a lot of these just plain wrong). This go, I got just above 50% on the Learning Journal entries, even though I tried to write thoughtful things and hit the word count. I got one feedback earlier in the semester that I missed telling me to cite things better so that's my best guess as to why, but among the question prompts are asking about "Your Thoughts and Feelings". Who exactly do I cite on my thoughts and feelings? The degree that you're allowed to be completely wrong and utterly superficial, barely warming over the network of sites that oversimplify CS topics, but can't have any original thought at all, continues to astound me. Seriously, I keep running afoul of this. I am not able to adequately correct here. Richard the IIIrd (who doesn't seem to realize that he's a living characterure) got original poetry that I made sure where completely unseen previously in Google for thoughts and feelings and I got dragged for that, which is at least kind of somewhat understandable, because it's off topic, so going back on-topic and still getting dragged I guess surprised me a little. I need this: https://www.reddit.com/r/neurodiversity/comments/rcqj0u/are_there_ask_a_neurotypical_spaces/ If I self-publish my thoughts and feelings (is a blog ok? maybe a print on demand serial about my Thoughts and Feelings about classes?) can I cite that or will that get me in super extra trouble?
